ALBRICO KAEFER prides itself on being involved with production and storage of cryogenic substances, such as LNG, methanol and ethylene, which would not be possible without special insulation systems.

KAEFER's large-scale Snohvit project, a gas liquefaction plant in Norway, was not the first example of the challenges involved in the liquefied gas business. Many years ago KAEFER bundled expertise in this sector and formed an LNG Corporate Competence Centre. The skills developed here in insulation systems for liquefied gases now benefit all KAEFER divisions.

Our capabilities in LNG, methanol and ethylene plants include installing heat and cold insulation and prefabricating components such as mattresses (soft removable covers).
