In times of high energy prices and great strains on the environment, eco-efficient insulation systems are of utmost importance. KAEFER's Thermal Insulation department supports ALBRICO KAEFER in all matters relating to heat and cold insulation and provides engineering capacities for technically demanding solutions.
KAEFER carries out thermodynamic calculations and dimensioning with their own programs as well as dedicated finite element methodology. Their scope of work includes:
- Static and dynamic load calculations
- Dimensioning of insulation systems in accordance with ecological and economic considerations
- Development of high temperature and cryogenic insulation concepts
- Planning and performing functional tests for complex insulation systems in their own laboratories
- Designing insulation systems in 3D CAD programs
- Qualifying materials and systems
